August 21, 2019 saw the unveiling of a Renaissance Award to the Pig & Tail in the Jewellery Quarter.
Richard Garside, from the Planning Committee told guests how the committee was highly impressed by the renovation of the former George & Dragon [Grade II] and by the commitment and vision of everyone involved in bringing a once decaying 19th century building back to life.
Jewellery Quarter Development Trust Chairman, Cllr Phil Davis, and Gurbinder Sandhu, Director of Kartar Consulting, who were Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers for the renovation, jointly unveiled the Award.
