• If you opted and paid to subscribe to The Hockley Flyer magazine each month, your name and postal address will be added by YBA Publications, (Publishers of The Hockley Flyer) to the mailing list. A copy of this list is sent to the printers purely to mail out the magazines and is then deleted by the printers. No other information is kept in this list.

Registering to use parts of this site
• We ask you to register a username and email address as members, and other items where access to part of the site is granted
• This is purely for our administration for orders, delivery etc, no payment details such as credit/debit cards are kept on our site.
• By registering you can change many of your details and can also change copy and update details for as long as the data is online. All these details are held behind an SSL layer with at least 128 bit encryption.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
We use a contact form that stores your message on our site and sends a copy to us via email. When we have dealt with your message it is deleted from the server and email box.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile.
